The \u00d6GMM pursues the following goals: <br>Die \u00d6GMM verfolgt als Ziele:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To provide a solid mycological platform with strong networking between all Austrian institutions and individuals for whom fungal infections are of importance<\/li><li>To highlight good international contacts and collaborations<\/li><li>To act as a partner and Austrian contact point for important issues regarding fungal infections<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tasks<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to achieve these goals, the \u00d6GMM has set itself the following tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Organisation of congresses, symposia, and lectures<\/li><li>Promotion of medical mycology and dissemination of current information in this field<\/li><li>To support participation in national and international meetings by providing travel grants<\/li><li>Encourage collaboration between individuals involved in medical mycology in the interest of scientific progress<\/li><li>To encourage young scientists in the field<\/li><li>To award prizes for publications<\/li><li>Providing information about selected congresses with mycological topics<\/li><li>Cooperation with other scientific societies<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><a class=\"maxbutton-2 maxbutton maxbutton-mitgliedschaft-beantragen\" title=\"Apply for membership\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oegmm.at\/en\/registrierung\/\"><span class='mb-text'>Apply for membership<\/span><\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Willkommen! Unsere Gesellschaft wurde im Jahr 2000 gegr\u00fcndet, um die Medizinische Mykologie in \u00d6sterreich zu f\u00f6rdern und zu vertreten.
