{"id":16,"date":"2020-05-31T09:04:26","date_gmt":"2020-05-31T07:04:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oegmm.at\/?page_id=16"},"modified":"2026-08-28T14:22:53","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T12:22:53","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.oegmm.at\/en\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Welcome!<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our society was founded in the year 2000 to promote and represent Medical Mycology in Austria. <br>The \u00d6GMM pursues the following goals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To provide a solid mycological platform with strong networking between all Austrian institutions and individuals for whom fungal infections are of importance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To highlight good international contacts and collaborations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To act as a partner and Austrian contact point for important issues regarding fungal infections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tasks<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to achieve these goals, the \u00d6GMM has set itself the following tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Organisation of congresses, symposia, and lectures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promotion of medical mycology and dissemination of current information in this field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To support participation in national and international meetings by providing travel grants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage collaboration between individuals involved in medical mycology in the interest of scientific progress<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To encourage young scientists in the field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To award prizes for publications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing information about selected congresses with mycological topics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cooperation with other scientific societies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><a class=\"maxbutton-2 maxbutton maxbutton-mitgliedschaft-beantragen\" title=\"Apply for membership\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oegmm.at\/en\/registrierung\/\"><span class='mb-text'>Apply for membership<\/span><\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Willkommen!
