Dear colleagues,

on behalf of the Austrian Society of the Medical Mycology (ASMM), we cordially invite you to
participate in the “1st Joint Workshop of ASMM and ASAC”, which will be held in Vienna, Austria,
from December 4-5, 2009. This meeting will be jointly organised with the Austrian Society for
Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ASAC).

Medical mycology has developed enormously and thus has been raising great interest among
scientists, physicians, drug companies, as well as others being involved in infectious diseases for its
inherent clinical implications and needs. The meeting will cover all important areas in the field, giving
you the possibility to meet scientists, physicians and health care professionals from our neighbouring
countries. The meeting will also provide opportunities for networking and facilitate and stimulate
collaborative research.

Nov. 24, 2009: The final Scientific Programme is now available for download in the General Information Section. The workshop has been accredited by the Austrian Medical Association (“Akademie der Ärzte”) with a total of 16 DFP-credits. Due to numerous requests, halfday tickets will be available onsite at the venue for the german morning sesion "Neues aus der Medizinischen Mykologie" on December 4. The price for the halfday tickets are € 25,- for ÖGMM/ÖGACH members and € 35,- for non-members.

Nov. 17, 2009: Details on poster sizes have been added to the Scientific Programme section.

Nov. 2, 2009: The abstract submission deadline has been extended until November 9, 2009.

Oct. 14, 2009: The early registration deadline with reduced fees has been extended until October 26, 2009.

Oct. 13, 2009: Bank transfer payment details have been added in the General Information section.

Oct. 12, 2009: There are now a limited number of travel fellowships available for participants. Please be aware that the deadline for applying for a travel fellowship is Oct. 31, 2009.

Sept. 23, 2009: The scientific programme has been updated and a new hotel has been added to the housing & travel section.

Aug 26, 2009: The online Registration is now open.

Aug 24, 2009: The online Registration will open in this week.
